Flu is a common disease around the world. Its medical name is influenza. It is a disease caused by influenza viruses. The symptoms when someone infected by influenza viruses are headache, drowsy, runny nose, fatigue, cough & fever. This is a story about a girl named SheShe who got a flu since she was born. Now she is 23 years old and still got infected by the disease. Many people around her wondering how come she still alive eventhough she carried the flu since a child. Unfortunately, her influenza viruses are different than common viruses. Her parents already brought her to a hospital when she was a child to treat the disease but surprisingly the doctor cannot figured it out on how to kill the viruses. Dr. KushKush said, " Well Mr. & Mrs. KaSheShe, I guess SheShe will live with this flu for the rest of her life."
Hearing such words from Dr. KushKush make the parents cry. That is somehow amused Dr. KushKush because both of them actually carry the same untreatable flu disease as their child. Obviously this is a genetic disease which have been inside the family ever since nobody know. Mr. KaSheShe crying and coughing at the same time, while Mrs. KaSheShe crying while sneezing and coughing as well. “Looking at both of them make me feel sorry, but it is funny at the same time”, said Dr. KushKush in monolog.”Hey you guys, look. I know your child’s flu cannot be cure but I think I have an idea. Have you ever heard a say that go like this: Sometimes laughter is the best medicine. Maybe you guys should try this alternative for the cure”, said Dr. KushKush and walking to continue his job while leaving the family bewilded by his words. The young doctor could be rude and fail to show some sympathy sometimes. What a jerk.
That was in the past. In this days the disease doesn’t concern SheShe anymore. She already getting used to it. What concern her more at this stage is whether she get any chance to find love and meet a guy who could possibly loving a girl with an uncureable flu. One day at a general hospital while waiting for her routine prescriptions at the pharmacy counter, a guy greeted SheShe. “Are you the girl who has the untreatable flu? My name is KaKa and I’m a big fan of yours”. SheShe replied, “You’re a fan of me? But why? It doesn’t make any sense!”. “The truth is, me as well having an untreatable flu, just like yours. My parents already brought me for a medical checkup by a doctor named KushKush when I was 8 years old. I heard a rumour saying that the doctor is kind of a jerk. Since I heard in the news about you, I somehow interested to know you more”, said KaKa while coughing and in a drowsy state.
Hearing those words from KaKa caused a glimpse in SheShe’s eyes. Is this a destiny? Is there actually a hope for me to love and being loved by someone after all? Does universe finally being fair to her by bringing a guy to complete her life? Those questions suddenly flocked her mind while she sipping a water after taking 2 paracetamol pills. “Do you like me?”, asked SheShe suddenly. “What? No?! How can anyone possibly asking such question in their first meeting? Are you crazy? By the way let me get your numbers in case I would like to ask you something about your condition”, replied KaKa with a serious face. He then walk away after retrieved SheShe’s phone numbers, leaving her in self-embarrasment. Without SheShe noticed, deep inside his heart KaKa already fall in love with SheShe. He just acted tough when SheShe asked whether he love her because a man’s ego sometimes can be a man’s pride.
After that encounter, KaKa always call SheShe and they talk about everything anyone can discuss from each family background stories to the current development of NASA projects. After quite some months, KaKa finally confessed his feeling towards SheShe and asked her to marry him. They both finally get married and lived together in a nice house near a general hospital so that they can easily walk to take their routine prescriptions for the flu. After a year of marriage, those ‘ill-fated’ couple gave birth to a child and surprise, surprise, their child also carrying the flu disease as well. The family finally live ‘ill-happily’ ever after for the rest of their life. The end.
